Hi Everyone,
I know it's been awhile since I've posted, I'm telling you this office redo has taken on a life of it's own. I thought I would have the reveal last week, only to discover I had quite a bit more to do than I anticipated. The results are going to be worth it. I hope you stick with me, keep checking back in to see the reveal. Depending on how things go this weekend, I hope to put the finishing touches on things. I'm pleased with the way things are coming together. Although we all know I like my "stuff " I'm really liking the pairing down of a few items.
With all the snow everyone has had, with many of you still having snow on the ground, folks in our part of the country are ready for some green. With the sun shining and the breezes blowing it puts my wheels into motion and the day dreams begin. It will be a while before we're actually able to get out and dig in the dirt and plant new things, so I thought I would put a touch on the dining room table.
Old garden tools will soon be in my hand instead of in a vignette. ;-)
I'll study books and dream of putting new plants in old pots.

We too are longing for spring. But, we are seeing the signs down in MS. What a pretty tablescape. Love how you added the garden tools to "realistically" carry out the theme! Hope you have not over done with the re-do! Can't wait to see.
I love the tablescape and I see you used one of my favorite gardening books. Readers Digest Illustrated Gardening is one that I always go back to for information and help. It's a classic.

Hi Lynne, Your beautiful tablescape works for me! I for one don't have time to do a full blown table to share each week. I love your dishes and accessories and books. To me, books are beautiful in their own right.
Well I'm thinking now ~~~ thinking that I just saw that Readers Digest Gardening book today in Goodwill. I just may have to go back and see if it's still there.
Anxious to see the reveal!

WOW! You have an awesome gift for arranging things. I love the vignette....the blue and dogs are so clever!!! Happy Spring from Houston!
The colors and books just make me crazy for spring!!!! I am so sick of brown grass and ugliness. What a fun vignette. I will have to dig out my books!
So pretty! A tablescape doesn't have to be for "eating". It is a lovely table decoration that you created. I love your Spring "forecast"!
A very pretty gardening vignette. I am so ready to plant annuals.
Looking forward to seeing your new office.
Your table centerpiece is saying "here comes spring!!". Love it. I loe that you used your tools and the books and the flowers. It's pretty perfect!
I think your table is quite clever! And would make a great centerpiece for a garden lunch.
Spring Fever is in full bloom! Your lovely vignette speaks to all of our dreams. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
Hey, I spy the Jerry Baker book that my husband loves. After he bought this book he had me buying beer and Coke for the lawn and was putting dish detergent on it too! There are some pretty wild and wacky things in the book that he loves. Hope you're smiling today!
What a great idea!!! Totally inspirational! That would be a fun blog party to host: inspirational centerpiece. Mine would be something to inspire me to rearrange my storage! :-) I hope you can get out and play in the dirt soon!
Absolutely stunning...
A smart idea on garden parties...
TY for sharing.
Happy TS...

I love your tablescape!!! I want you to come to my house and decorate....
Hope you have a restful weekend.
Hugs,
Beautiful displays, Lynne! I know you are ready for things to thaw. Spring seems to have come early for us after a really brutal winter...well, brutal for the south. Are you stocking up in your shop these days...getting ready for spring? :) I can't wait to see your office! I've got to get back to work on mine this weekend.
Lynne ~ enjoyed your post and your positive attitude towards the never ending winter. Hope you see the ground soon.

Hello sweet friend...
Just popping in to say hello and see how you are doing! It sounds like you are keeping very busy! Was just wondering if you are still doing all the bookkeeping and tax things too? Anyway...I bet your office is looking spectacular! I can hardly wait for the reveal!!!
Well dear friend, I think I am in the very same boat as you! I have such a bad case of spring fever this year but it is snowing even as I type this...eeeks! I too, have begun to do a little spring decor...just to boost my morale! hehe! I love this pretty spring vignette that you created for your table...simply gorgeous, my friend! You know, I love that two tiered iron basket thingy! Every time you use it in a vignette...I just sigh! I love it! Love your pretty artichoke plate too! Thank you so much for sharing this lovely spring vignette...it's like a breath of fresh air! Well Darlin'...don't work too hard! Just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you!!!
