Dressing the Chandy

This year I chose to dress the chandy. Staying with the color scheme of browns and bronzes I chose bronze Christmas Balls and ribbon.

Did you catch the hint of a centerpiece below the chandy? You'll see it in an upcoming tablescape.

In real time the greenery isn't off balance. I'm not sure I'm crazy about the heaviness above the table, it stays for the time being. :-)) Until next time.....

Lynne, Your chandy is nothing short of BEAUTIFUL! You dressed it so pretty. I for one can appreciate the amount of time, effort and talent that took to do. I don't often get to that unless it's for my Christmas silk show. (that's sad isn't it??)

Very well done. Donna

Lynne it's beautiful! I love those colors. I have been tempted to do a tree or vignette using these colors. That would mean I would have to the Christmas storage!!

I made the decision to stay home from the tour. I was sitting at my desk in the bedroom shivering and shaking and I said to myself...if I am shivering and shaking now what would I be doing outside walking in and out of houses! J left it up to me. He's been in and out of the house all morning, with Molly, and taking pictures of all his work outdoors. He's way tougher than I!:-)

Just started snowing again.

I think your chandy is beautiful and you did quite a nice job on it! You sound like me, not so sure about the heaviness of it all is how I feel about mine also. But like you, it's done now! I love the natural looking elements you used too.
