The Big Guy Takes Center Stage

I don't recall where I got the gold rimmed wine glasses, the bubble glasses came from Big Lots a few years back.

Royal Stafford dishes were purchased at TJ Maxx a while back, the pattern is Hay Ride.

Isn't the dog just the cutest? Yes, I've gone bonkers over anything with a dog in it. My daughter just shakes her head and says, "Wow"! I think she thinks Mom has lost her mind. lol

A few years back I was pouring through Touchstone Catalog and fell in love with the Santa Bust. The price was way out of my budget. Earlier in the week I recall seeing one at Hobby Lobby that looked very similar. I called my daughter and asked her to go over and check it out for me, (you see I'm an hour away, she's five minutes from there lol) She shot me a picture via cell phone, I approved the picture and the rest is history. Not only is it similar it's done by the same artist.
Aren't the details amazing? The gold chargers were purchased a few years back at TJ Maxx. I love the weight of them and the sculptured edge.

Flatware is from Target. I'm still looking and wanting red and black. :-))

The small gold mercury votives were purchased at Nell Hill's in Atchison this past fall.

What a pretty table setting!! I am always getting those looks from my oldest. :D
I am ready to wind things down here also. Sun shining today and 48, so cleaned leaves out of the courtyard. Did not get all out of the flower beds, but is much better.
Enjoy your evening.

Pretty table with my favorite haystack dishes that I did NOT buy on two separate occassions - regrets, regrets! May you and yours have a very Merry Christmas. Sally

I love that gold edged stemware and can't believe you got it at Big Lots. Really??? I'm just going to have to head to a BL in another town as a New Year's resolution.

I really do love your entire table. That Santa centerpiece is fantastic.

Ohhh...your Christmas tablescape is soooo beautiful! I love the big gold bust of Santa...he certainly does look regal...doesn't he? I don't think I've ever seen one at our Hobby Lobby. Of course, I'm quite some distance away as well so I don't get over as often as I would like! I love your Royal Stafford "Hayride" dishes, Lynne! Ohhh..and your gold charger plates...fabulous! Such a beautiful Christmas table...thank you so much for sharing it with us!!!

Love ya,
Chari

That Santa bust is really great!!! I'll bet it'll get a lot of action in the years to come! Great bargain!!! I have that same flatware from Target, and I don't remember seeing it in black or red. As I recall, they just had it in the ivory, dark green, blue and brown. I am kicking myself over and over for not getting the brown. Oh, well...water under the bridge! I hope you and your family enjoy the Christmas holiday!
