Mother Nature's Last Hooray

With the hint of Spring in the air yesterday, Mother Nature once again hit us today with a touch of winter. With brisk winds and snow on the ground we're once again reminded to enjoy each moment, we never know what tomorrow is going to bring.

With the fury of Mother Nature's winter blast outside, inside the shop screams Spring. This weekend is my annual Spring Open House Event. I've filled the front of the shop with the cutest Easter bunnies and Spring Decor. I've taken several pictures and hope to show those to you in the next couple of days. I'm off to get the shop open for the day, I hope the sun is shining on you where ever you are.
hugs ~lynne~

Looks like the typical Missouri March snowfall.:-)

Eldest daughter just called. They've tried all winter to get to St Joe to see son in law's Best Man's mother (she has cancer). He has to work most weekends. They had a trip planned for this weekend and Miss Gabi was going to ride along and spend time with her Aunt Meme(middle daughter), in KC. Once again, the trip is postponed. There is a bad stretch of country road they need to travel, so decided to call off the trip. Gabi wasn't too upset since her Aunt T explained if there was any pink on the weather map they wouldn't get to go...sure enough, there was pink on the map!!
We have grey skies and predictions of snow for tomorrow...50%. Wouldn't surprise us a bit. Ahhh...March in MO.

Here from my picture window in KC we look much like you do. After a higt of 71 yesterday what a disappointing start for the first day of spring. But I did see my first garage sale sign yesterday could spring be far behind?

Wow - You did get hit with snow. We have rain moving in this evening and temps dropping, but nothing like that predicted for here thank goodness.
Enjoy your weekend.

Hello, Lynne,
Yes, it looks like winter is having one last hurrah! I think spring starts officially tomorrow. We are having a cold, wet blustery day today here in Central Texas, too. I would love to visit your shop full of springtime. Have a beautiful weekend, my friend! Vicki

Your pictures really capture the 'cold weather'..... So pretty, but I know you're more than ready for spring.

I wish I could shop for bunnies in your shop, one of my many weaknesses.....

Hope all is well with your family!

My sister and family left today (Fl) back to KC and they had already gotten 4 inches and were expecting 12 inches.

I am letting everyone know that I have moved my blog to my new site www.itssoverycheri.com
I need to ask you, to please go over and RE-SIGN up to follow me over there. Google won't let you take your Followers with you so you are no longer getting my info in your reader, unless you have gone over and signed up. Sorry if you have already done so, I am trying to go back and forth between both blogs as well as my new e-mail and my old e-mail.
I have lots of fun things going on over at the new blog, so I hope you will hop on over and check it all out.

I also have a new give-a-way going on.

We had several inches of snow yesterday, but the sun is shining today. I love it when it snows in the spring, as it is always beautiful the next day. Snow/sun - my kind of spring. Looking forward to seeing your shop all decked out for spring. Sally

We had snow here yesterday afternoon & last night. North winds have been bitterly cold today...not my idea of spring at all.

Let's hope we're back to sunshine and warmer temps this week! Hope you are well and happy.

Hi Lynne, can't wait to see what Spring treasures you will display. I have zinnias in the trunk of my car, trying to keep them warm until this cold, windy weather passes!

Lynne-I have been wondering where you have been. I see from the previous post where you have been and what you have been up to! Can you believe this crazy weather??? Take care of yourself! I know you are working so hard. Maybe after April 15, things will slow down. Hope your husband is doing well.

Hello sweet friend...

I just read your sweet note and had to come right over! I was sooo happy to hear from you, Lynne! I know that you've been really busy...with tax season and all! I see now that you have also been busy preparing for your Spring Open House! Ohhh...how I wish that I were there! I'd love to give you a hand at your shop and then I could take a peek at all of your Spring pretties too! Hehe! I'm looking forward to seeing some of those photos, Darlin'!!!

Girl, your weather has been the same as ours! Friday and Saturday we were under "winter storm warnings"...they were afraid we would have a blizzard with the high winds and snow that we got! Will we ever see Spring? Hehe! I know that by this time of the year, I am sooo ready...I have Spring fever so bad!

Well my dear, I read your last post and was so excited to see a photo of your office! Now this is the office in your basement, right? It's gorgeous, Lynne! I guess that you finally have it all put back together after the flooding! Yeeehawww! Well sweet girl, I'm so happy to hear from you today! I wish you the very best with your Spring Open House...sending lots of good thoughts and prayers your way, Sweetie!!!

Love ya,
Chari
