Field of Green

Gosh I hope I'm not tardy for the party. I just discovered Marty is now hosting this fun filled day. I'm so excited to be participating. Marty thank you for graciously taking over this fun party. I looked back through my archive of pictures to see what I could come up. After the holidays, I like to spruce the hutch up for spring, something more light and airy. I wish I had remembered to take a close up picture of the large pear in the center of the hutch. I have a weakness for pears as well. lol Guess that's a post for another day. lol
A candle for the soul sits on a marble base.
A few green apples play well off the green in the plate.
A couple of green birds hold court at the base of a picture.
Many of you know my love for bunnies. This one stole my heart many years ago. Made of a wooden texture he's quite heavy. I knew the minute I got him where he would reside. He's one of a few that doesn't float around the house. :-))

Some faux greenery and some old books always warms my heart.

I'm so glad you stopped by. I hope you enjoyed my vignettes in the hutch. Don't forget to swing by Marty's for a full list of those participating in today's party. I'm off myself, I'll see you there.
hugs ~lynne~

You must be my soul sista. I swear we have very similar tastes. I have 2 very similar rabbits, and have just been trying to negotiate on some more green pottery at one of my favorite consigment places. Just recently bought those sweet little birds too, and I love them. Hope you're doing ok! Rhoda @ Southern Hospitality's taste also resembles ours.

I love your black hutch and your displays are great. Great texture added with the runner and the greenery plus they soften the hard surfaces. Love your squirrel bookends. I am looking for reasonably priced old books for display, too. They get so expensive, but would love to have some.

This is such a pretty hutch, Lynne! I love how the green looks with the black of the hutch. Being a bunny nut, your bunny on top was the first thing I spied! I like your squirrel bookends, too.

I just bought a yellow and green little bird like those you have on your hutch the other day - no telling what/where they'll end up!!

I love that faux greenery - I don't think I've ever seen any quite like that before - love the way it drapes!

And, I love all your pretty greens -

Glad you could join in -
