Beautiful Sedum Hues On Outdoor Wednesday

More goodies go
into the Giveaway Basket

Any guesses ?

Welcome to Outdoor Wednesday, hosted by Susan ; A Southern Day Dreamer. Be sure to click here for a full list of those participating. Be prepared for views of beautiful outdoor spaces. Remember a few weeks ago when I showed you the Autumn Sedum in the backyard? The most luscious shade of pink was evident. Along with a few surprises. (excuse my shadow).
Yes, a few bees were busy gathering pollen.
Okay, "a lot" of bees. :-)
I remember hurrying to take this shot, unaware that the blooms were so full of bees. lol

The blooms are so delicate looking. Not quite so delicate that had this bee having any problems hanging on. lol

We go from this lighter shade of pink a couple of weeks ago........

To this rich lush deep color of pink today. Minus the bees. :-))

From this a couple of weeks ago..

To this today. Isn't it wonderful the changes Mother Nature makes?
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to treat yourself by swinging over by Susan's A Southern Day Dreamer for a full list of participants. I'll see you there.
hugs ~lynne~

Your sedum is beautiful. I had a bit too, but my garden people trimmed it away...no use talking to them, the yonly know Spanish! lol!!

Your blog has a new look and I love it, Lynne. Everything looks so warm and pretty next to the background. You have lost your followers list and so have I. I went to blogger and so have many more. Hopefully they will have it fixed soon.

Lynne, the Sedum is just gorgeous. I so remember ordering over 400 of these little mini plants and them arriving the day before we were to leave for a few days vacation and trying to get them all planted from 5 pm to midnight. They really looked gorgeous. I was so glad I did get them planted, but at the time I could have said a few bad words. Your s are just so pretty. I think this tease is a pretty leaf dish or bowl. Hugs, Marty

The sedum really is lovely. Some of us were talking the other day about how few bees we've seen this year (the drought?) Now I know where they all went lol. And I think your teaser shot is a bowl? Hope you are having a wonderful week. Kathy

Love the colors. To me it looks like a ceramic leaf, maybe part of a small bowl?

Hello Lynne,

The pink sedum is beautiful! Great shots of the bees. When I went to the park the other morning, I was trying to get shots of the bees on the flowers, but they kept landing on flowers that bobbed from their weight so all the shots came out blurry…

Thank you for sharing!

Lynne, I'm glad the bees went away, and I'm glad you didn't get stung trying to take photos. The sedum is so pretty in its summer colors and in its fall colors. Amazing how much of a diffference a few weeks make. laurie
