Mosaics and Pink Saturday

Welcome to another Pink Saturday. Where all the world is full of beautiful Pink. Hosted by Beverly over at How Sweet the Sound.

This past week has been a crazed ( is that even a word) week. Nothing really out of the ordinary just full and busy. So this weeks Pink Saturday post is short and sweet. A few years back I purchased this mosaic frame at Hobby Lobby off their 80% isle. I love year end clearances. And when I saw this frame I knew immediately what picture I would put inside. This is a picture of my grandson at the age of 6 months. Wasn't he just the cutest baby? OK.. I know it's the Grandma "proud" coming out of me..How could you not be proud of such a handsome guy? The corners of the frame show the beauty of the pink mosaic flower. I've always loved mosaic work. I know there are a lot of you in Blog Land that do mosaics and my hat goes off to you and the talent you were given.

This is my Bailey last basketball season. Hasn't he turned into a handsome little guy? I know, I know the Grandma thing again.... :-)) As you can see not a pink kind of guy.. lol I had to put this picture in a blue frame that I display proudly in my office. Stay tuned for a future post of the office. Yes, guys and gals.. it is finally completed after the water damage almost a year ago. Yippee!!!!

One last peek....

I'm so glad you swung in today to say hello. I always enjoy your visits and comments.. Now, don't forget to treat yourselves to a visit over at our Beverly's at How Sweet the Sound for more beautiful Pink. As always, Beverly; thank you for showing us this world of beautiful Pink each Saturday... I'm off... I'll see you there....... hugs ~lynne~

One of these days I am going to try my hand at mosaic. I keep threatening my husband that it will be on the kitchen backsplash...guess I might want to try something a little less obvious first....lol.

Hello Dearheart...

My friend, I love your mosaic picture frame...those pretty pink roses stole my heart right from the get-go! Ohhh my, your Bailey is such a precious little guy...Girl, I can't believe how much he has grown!!! You are absolutely right...he is really a handsome boy!

Girlfriend, I had to do some catching up at your place...just visited your darling Raggedy Ann and Andy tablescape...how wonderfully sweet and creative!!! I love that burlap checkerboard...I would love to make some of those...couldn't be too hard! And your little Raggedy dolls are just precious...I have always loved Raggedy Ann & Andy...in fact, I did my first born daughter's nursery in that theme! To this day...she loves Raggedy Ann & Andy too! I have to tell you though...my very favorite was that charming little tea set...it's absolutely adorable!!! And I love the pretty little wicker basket that it's kept in!!! This checkerboard table is so fun and you're such a creative gal, Lynne!!!

Ohhh my...I'm elated to hear that your basement is finally finished! What trials and tribulations, huh? Can't wait to see it, my friend!!! We'll have to pop a cork and celebrate...hehe!

Love ya,
Chari

Aren't you just the sweetest doll with your comments to me! Yes, your grandson is a very handsome young man and a very cute baby! I love the ball caps! I'm excited to hear that your almost done with your office! Water damage does take forever. I don't know if you remember but we had a flood in our laundry room. It's almost a year and we're about done but I have to get a plumber out to finish the bathroom. The bathroom is hooked onto the laundry room so it affected it with the flooring. We changed out the vanity countertop while we were doing the floor so we need him to come back and finish. Since this part is out of pocket it certainly has taken awhile. Oh well, we'll REALLY, REALLY appreciate it when it's finished. Too many other things taking the money right now to have it for the plumber. I love the frames too. I don't do mosaics either and I admire that talent too. Have a great weekend! Cindy
