Pink Saturday and Roses For You!!

I'm so excited to be participating in Pink Saturday once again...hosted by Beverly over at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/myweblog.com Be sure to swing by to check out all the beautiful pink participants.Happy Valentine's Day my friends. It's been a bit crazy around here this past week. A bit more than normal. So.. for you I've chosen the centerpiece from the table for 2.. I love toile, toile anything. I chose the teapot for the centerpiece full of Pink Roses. I chose to lay the the lid down to the side and feel it makes it's own statement.

Close up for you. Aren't they gorgeous? I purchased these last Saturday and they are still just as pretty today..

Be sure to grab a rose and scoot on over to Beverly's for a full list of participants. I'm off myself to see all the beautiful pink. Happy Valentine's Day!!! hugs ~lynne~

Hi Lynne ... I can't believe how perfectly perfect your roses have stayed. Magic I am certain. Have a wonderful day tomorrow and I love how you stood the tea pot lid on its side .. nice touch.

Lynne,

What a pretty post, the toile teapot & roses. I agree, the roses look great, maybe better than last week since they probably opened a bit more.

I am very sentimental about toile pieces. My sister, who passed away a little over a year ago collected toile. I would love to find a few pieces. Are yours new or vintage? Would love to see more of your collection someday!

Happy Pink Saturday

Even after the roses fade and are long gone, you'll still have these beautiful pictures to remember them by. The roses have wonderful coloration.

Hope DH is feeling much improved by now. May your day be everything you want it to be!

Lynne, thank you so much for the Valentine's wishes. I hope you have one filled with much love and blessings. BTW, you mentioned that you were collecting the green cabbage plates, and then I think we both saw the same post with the gorgeous pink ones, I found some of the white, and today on Ebay I saw some absolutely gorgeous yellow ones. Now we have even more colors to look for. The yellow was a little expensive, but it was really pretty. Maybe I'll luck out and find some at my GW. lol Hugs, Marty

Just love this! Thanks for checking up on me. All the kind notes, have helped me get through this week, It was very rough, talking about my illness. Now I want to see more of this toile! Its beautiful.

Marty@A Stroll Thru Life said...

Lynne, I have no idea where I was on Ebay. I just typed in decorative plates and 2 places came up. I also googled cabbage plates just now and there are some yellow ones up there also. Not bad prices either. In fact, they also had some of the pink ones on some of the sites. I was looking at one of those sites that have all the differenct companies listed where you can compare. Try there, they had a great selection. If I find the exact name of a place I'll let you know. Hugs, Marty

Lynne, there are some really pretty yellow cabbage piece at Replacements,Ltd. and I also found some of the neatest yellow plates and bowls on Horchow, the pattern is called Baroque & Daffodil. I just absolutely love the daffodil bowls. Take a look at those. Hugs, Marty

I would love those toile (red)dishes!!
They're stunning! I think the Valentine dessert I posted would have made a beautiful presentation on these plates. Are the dishes still available to purchase from the source you got them from? I'd appreciate any information you could give me. What a great find the chargers were. I too prefer a shape unique from the standard.
This is the perfect Valentine tablescape!

Sweet wishes,
Sara
