~~~~~Sunset and a Break~~~~~
As the sun goes down I took a break to go out and snap a picture of the beautiful sunset. I've been inside all day breaking down all the Christmas Fa-la-la! It's been a whirl wind of a day around here. I've moved , I've shoved, polished and revamped some vignettes, so taking a moment for this was worth all the work. Most of the household is down for a nap. But Miss Scooter is still enjoying her Merry Ho-Ho gift from Santa. She's struggling to find the squeaker. She knows if she does she gets a treat. :-)
I hope each and everyone of you had a wonderful Christmas. I'm so appreciative and so humbled to think that you would take time to swing by. I love having you stop by each day and welcoming you into my home and learning a bit more about you. I hope you continue to stop by so we can continue to learn more about each other. hugs ~lynne~
Oh, we're still in the Merry Ho Ho mood around here. Party, party party. And then we're off for 3 days of skiing! Happy to say, the place we're staying has an IT room.....blog heaven :)
Hi Lynne, thanks for the beautiful photo of the sunset. I spent the day sorting and packing up Christmas things. Yesterday I went to a little antique village and found some CUTE little red and lime green things on sale at my favorite shop. My tiny home seems BIG today with all the decorations packed away. I will leave the tree up a little longer. I still need a few more mornings of looking at the lights and drinking that first cup of coffee. Hope your new year is SPECIAL!!! "Talk" soon, friend.
Lynne, That sunset is beautiful. I hope my hubby goes to work tomorrow. I want to go shopping for a few new accent pieces. It feels good to have the house back together. It took awhile to clean up all of the glitter. Today was just a day of relaxation. We did go to church of course. I baked some cookies. I just love being at home.
Hugs, Terrie
Oh what a beautiful sunset, Lynne! I'm so glad you had a good Christmas! Scooter looks very happy with her new toy. Isn't it funny how dogs love to find the squeaker? Here, everything has been lazy for the last 2 days. I'll be gearing up in a day or so for my collards and black-eyed peas on New Year's Day! Happy New Year!...Debbie
