Can a gal have too much silver??

Remember girls I told you I thought of another room the silver would work in? Yes, that's right. The black and white toile bedroom. I felt this room would be "perfect" for silver decorations this year. I moved the silver compote off the dining room table onto the small sofa table. Added a bit of silver leaf decor, turned on the lights and voile'..

Every dog needs her own tree doesn't she? Remember the old fashion tinsel trees? When I ran across this one I thought it would be perfect for the bedroom. It has been recommended that I decorate the tree with some small silver picture frames. But, I think I like the simplicity of the display.

I had to move this table from the living room for the big tree. Naturally, had to decorate it as well. After discovering I had all of these great ornaments I thought they would look great in this great glass urn. My girlfriend gave me the urn several years ago for my birthday and it has held many things over the years. This is the first year for ornaments, but I feel it won't be the last.

I think it looks great.. What do you girls think?

I found these great topairy trees at TJMAXX a couple of weeks ago. I forgot to take a close up , but they have the cutest silver ball ornaments. I'm hoping you can enlarge the picture to be able to see them.

Here are a few of the vintage mercury ornaments. I put them in a silver flower pot that I've had for years. Not realizing it would be perfect for such a display.

This is a side view as you walk into the room. I love the feeling the silver gives off in here. You can see the new table runner is going to make it's way around the house. I do believe this was a good purchase..lol

I couldn't resist one last shot of the dining room table vignette. I took this shot today before I stripped the table. I love the glare of sunlight that bounced off the ornaments. I hope you enjoyed the silver mania that has taken me over.. hugs ~lynne~

I love the ornaments and the trees and everything silver! My mom used to have a tinsel tree like this one only her's hung on the wall. She'd put a color wheel on it and the large one in our front room. You have a beautiful eye for decorating and I really like the dog by the tree. He sure looks like he belongs there! Cindy

The silver looks beautiful! I was commenting on someone else's silver blog that I needed to get my silver serving pieces out from under the bed. They have been there for at least 20 years -- isn't that awful? We received so many pieces for our marriage 50 years ago and I have never used them. There is a coffee service, at least 10 trays, candlesticks, etc., etc. I'm feeling guilty now - they probably would be beautiful around my house. Thanks for spurring me on. Sally
